Chelsea Cutler & Jeremy Zucker Bring Brent Forever Tour to The Town Hall

Chelsea Cutler and Jeremy Zucker brought their Brent Forever Tour to New York City November 20 with a serene performance at The Town Hall. The atmosphere was cozy at the historic theatre, with Cutler and Zucker’s set mimicking a woodsy cabin. Before beginning their set, the pair walked onstage in the dark, and sat down to watch a heartfelt video capturing the creation of their album brent iii. 

While Cutler and Zucker both have acclaimed solo careers, they’ve also been developing their joint musical project for five years. After Cutler signed to Republic Records in 2019, the pair released the EP brent, followed by brent ii in 2021, and their first full-length joint album, brent iii, November 1. 

The Town Hall showcased the pair’s comforting, folk-pop sound, with a setlist featuring songs from all three brent installments. While the tour marks the first time the friends have performed together, you would think they’ve always been a duo act—Cutler and Zucker’s warm vocals and layered instrumentals blended perfectly, creating an atmosphere that felt as if the audience had been transported to their very own rustic cabin.

The Brent Forever Tour will continue through December 8, with an additional New York show at Brooklyn Paramount November 26.
